Lars Moston's latest release is on the new freaky Label called Freakz Me Out. Freakz Me Out is run by the former A&R of Plastique Base Records.
Since “Ever Since I Heard The Sound“ on Plastique Base Records, Lars has been a busy boy, dropping the massive “F*cked Up” (with Malente), the solo single “What Now” and a whole bunch of remixes.
The releases got huge DJ feedback from the likes of Shir Khan, Yuksek, Mickey Slim, Azzido da Bass and Mason. “F*cked Up” even reached the top 5 of the German Club Chart.
The new single “Jack It!” has a straight, stomping beat, with just a touch of funky percussion, laying the foundation for a monstrous, twisted synth lead, rave stabs and wild-pitched “Jack It!” vocal. With big drops and build-ups the tracks aims squarely at serious dance-floor devastation.
With the original comes a hand-picked remix package that features two of Mr Moston’s favourite production teams:
Daniel Dexter & Nhan Solo from Berlin and the amazing Australians they call Acid Jacks, who are best known for their “Bring it on” remix for GOOSE!
The Berlin crew delivers and absolute peak-time burner of a remix, retaining the jackin’, stomping feel of the original but going completely mental with a new bassline, lots of detuning and rave sirens – yes!
Acid Jacks keep the original lead synth while adding some trademark 303 madness, blowing up the stabs and twisting the vocal even more, all held together by a driving straight beat and truckloads of awesome.
